WWE CCO Triple H discusses potential production changes following Raw’s move to Netflix

A hot topic on fans’ minds is what “WWE Raw” will look like when WWE’s flagship show of more than 30 years moves to Netflix in January 2025 and signs a 10-year, $5 billion deal with the Streaming service completes. Netflix also has the option to unsubscribe after five years or extend the term for another ten years.

At the Bad Blood Press Conference, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque was asked about production changes that could occur if “Raw” moves to Netflix. “That’s the cool thing about what we do: A little bit different than a lot of other sports, a lot of other sports pick up someone like Netflix and then someone has to produce that content because the other sport doesn’t produce the content; We.” “are turnkey.” said Triple H. “We do everything we do and then we just deliver the product; you turn on the signal, we deliver it. I think one of the main “wonderful” things about WWE is that not everyone is in that position.”

Triple H acknowledged that Netflix gives the WWE an incredible canvas to paint on, but noted that it will still be a WWE product just with the volume turned up. The WWE Hall of Famers are also excited about the viewership expansion opportunity offered by Netflix that they didn’t have before. “If we do that, we’ll reach the entire US with Raw, but then with Raw, with (WWE) SmackDown, with (WWE) NXT, with all the PLEs, we’ll reach 80% of the U.S.” On January 6th we launched around the world where we were strong in all of these areas, and now it’s going to a new level with Netflix. The only thing I can say is: We’re working hard on it and putting a lot of hard work into it, but I’m so excited about the opportunity this creates for us and where we’re going with it, so wait and see , but it’s going to be great.”
