World Aviation Festival cooperates with Schiphol Airport

The World Aviation Festival announces Royal Schiphol Group as its official airport partner.

Royal Schiphol Group is a leading airport company that operates Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, a major European hub. Committed to safety and sustainability, the company operates a network of airports in the Netherlands that promote international connections for passengers, cargo and the global economy.

The World Aviation Festival has quadrupled in size over the past five years and attracts airlines, airports and key industry representatives from around the world.”

The World Aviation Festival returns this year from 8.th-10th October. It brings together professionals from across the industry and provides valuable insight into the latest developments, innovations and trends in aviation. Over 3,000 participants have already confirmed their attendance and over 5,000 are expected by October. Confirmed speakers include Marjan Rintel, KLM; Patrick Roux, SkyTeam; and József Váradi, WizzAir.

The Royal Schiphol Group aims to become the most sustainable airport network in the world. This ambitious plan envisages achieving waste- and emission-free operations at its airports by 2030. Looking to the future, the Group aims to develop in an energy-positive manner and aims to fully implement the principles of the circular economy. Beyond its own operations, the Schiphol Group is committed to promoting sustainability in the aviation sector and is working towards emission-free flying by 2050.
