‘Wordle’ #1,179 Answer, Hints and Tips for Tuesday, September 10 Game

While Wordle is easy to play, but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy to solve.

Here is Newsweek comes into play, because we have put together five clues to help you find out Tuesday’s answer.

Created by software engineer Josh Wardle, Wordle started as a fun project during the COVID-19 pandemic because he wanted to create a puzzle “that would be fun for me and my partner.”

The game was released in October 2021 and quickly became a worldwide sensation, with many players sharing their results on social media every day. In January 2022 The New York Times bought Wordle for a seven-figure sum.

A large part WordleThe appeal of lies in its simplicity. Players have six chances to guess the daily five-letter word and receive feedback to help them find the right word via a color-coded system.

A green tile means that the letter is correct, while a yellow tile tells the player that the letter is in the word but in the wrong place. A gray tile means that the letter is not in the word at all.

In an earlier interview with NewsweekErhan Aslan, who teaches applied linguistics at the University of Reading in the UK, gave some advice for Wordle Player.

“One thing I think is important in this game is the starting word you choose. It can be helpful to start with words that contain commonly used vowels, such as e and a, consonants like r and t, and sound sequences,” he said.

“Choosing a word that starts with q, z, j or x, for example, may not be the best choice. Because you get more feedback after a few guesses, users will need to rely on some knowledge of phonetics to narrow down or rule out some words they are thinking of.”

The answer to today’s Wordle is “rebel”.

According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, the adjective is defined as “to oppose or take up arms against a government or ruler” and the noun as “one who rebels or takes part in a rebellion.” The verb definition is “to oppose or disobey a person in authority or control.”
