Former AEW International Champion Will Ospreay has revealed the reason why he will continue not to use the AEW signature move Tiger Driver 91.

On AEW Dynasty, Will Ospreay defeated Bryan Danielson in a first-ever encounter. During the match, Ospreay hit Danielson with the Tiger Driver 91, and Bryan was unable to leave the ring under his own power after the match.

During the media frenzy after the show, Ospreay revealed that he would no longer use the Tiger Driver 91 after this fight. Since then, this move has become an important part of his characterization, as he no longer uses it in important fights.

After MJF used the Tiger Driver on his former rival Michael Oku at RevPro Summer Sizzle, Ospreay stated that he was ready to beat Friedman at All In London by any means necessary, including this move.

Following a video package discussing the move at AEW Collision on August 17, Will Ospreay uses social media to reveal the reason why he still doesn’t want to use the Tiger Driver 91. He noted that Bryan Danielson needs neck surgery this year and wrote:

The fact that Danielson is having neck surgery later this year, and it stems from our encounter in Dynasty, is enough reason for me not to bring this up.

Any other of my moves can protect you if you are sufficiently trained.

There is no way to protect yourself here.

Will Ospreay will challenge MJF for the AEW American Championship on Sunday, August 25th at AEW All In London.
