Philadelphia prepares for presidential debate between Harris and Trump
The showdown between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is the first presidential debate since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race for the Democratic nomination.
For the first time, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will face off on the debate stage tonight in Philadelphia.
The debate, moderated by ABC’s David Muir and Linsey Davis, will be crucial for both candidates as they vie for the support of swing voters in a tight race. A lackluster performance by either candidate could reflect the impact of President Joe Biden’s earlier debate with Trump, which was a key factor in Biden’s decision to drop out of the race and endorse Harris.
With one of the most heated election cycles in U.S. history, their exchanges are likely to be predictable and at times questionable. But as we prepare for this historic event, why not add a little fun to it?

How to watch the 2024 presidential debate
USA TODAY Network will simulcast the ABC News presidential debate on the USA TODAY channel and is available on most smart TVs and devices.
The debate will also be streamed on ABC News Live, Disney+ and Hulu, the broadcaster announced Friday.
Fox News, NewsNation and CBS News announced last week that they plan to broadcast the debate simultaneously, and CNN announced Monday that it plans to do the same.
