Under old coach Pete Carroll, the Lions struggled with Seattle’s rushing attack, but under Macdonald the scheme has changed and the Lions are playing defense as well as anyone in the NFL right now.

This won’t be child’s play. Kenneth Walker III brings balance to Seattle’s offense, DK Metcalf is a dangerous receiver and the Seahawks have the personnel to make life difficult for Jared Goff. But on Monday night, with the home crowd behind them, I think the more experienced Lions will emerge victorious. The choice: Lions 24, Seahawks 20.
