Who are the moderators of the ABC News presidential debate?

Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump will face off in their first televised debate on Tuesday, hosted by ABC News at the National Constitutional Center in Philadelphia.

“World News Tonight” anchor David Muir and ABC News Live’s “Prime” anchor Linsey Davis will moderate the debate but will not tell the candidates the topics and questions before the event.

The 90-minute event will be broadcast live on ABC at 9 p.m. ET on September 10 and simultaneously on C-SPAN, Fox News, PBS and other networks.

Who is Linsey Davis?

Davis is the anchor of ABC News Live’s “Prime” and has moderated presidential debates in the 2020 election cycle, including the third debate, where Trump claimed he was “the least racist person in the room.”

Who is David Muir?

Muir hosts “World News Tonight” and gave Trump his first White House interview as president in 2017. He also moderated the presidential debates in the 2016 and 2020 elections.
