Travis Kelce did not seem particularly happy about attending the Chiefs game on Sunday night. In fact, the New Yorker post said he looked “miserable.” TMZ called him a “sad sack.” Me? I think he looked a little down, sure. What do you think?
Phew. I wouldn’t say he looks… happy. So what’s making the man so down? TMZ pointed out that the last game was a “Taylorless” game – could that be it? Taylor Swift apparently stayed in New York this weekend, where she was spotted having dinner with Gigi Hadid on Saturday. It was the first time this season that she missed a Chiefs game, so maybe that’s why Kelce was so down.
It’s also possible that Kelce is unhappy with his own performance. He had four catches for 30 yards last night and continued his three-game streak without a touchdown. In last week’s episode of his podcast, he said: New heightsKelce talked about his frustration with his performance this season.
“I was always really mad and almost lost it when I wasn’t successful because I knew that was what I was asking of myself,” Kelce explained. “I just like to play the game with such a high level of responsibility that it’s just hard for me to deal with mediocrity or statistics that reflect that.”
That could be our answer. Or maybe he missed his girlfriend. My unlikely theory is that it looks very windy in this video and I think something blew into his eye. I guess we’ll all just have to wait for the capsule to get our answers.
