Where to buy tickets, schedule, dates

Linkin Park is far from “The End”.

After a seven-year hiatus, the early 2000s rockers announced they would embark on a six-date tour in support of their upcoming eighth studio album, From Zero.

So far, the nu-metal group has only two shows scheduled in North America. First, the “Bleed It Out” band is scheduled to headline at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Wednesday, September 11. Five days later, they will perform at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Monday, September 16.

At all shows, Dead Sara’s lead singer Emily Armstrong will be standing in for Chester Bennington, who died in 2017. Rock producer Colin Brittain was hired to replace drummer Rob Bourdon, who left Linkin Park after Bennington’s early death.

They join vocalist Mike Shinoda, guitarist Bad Delson, bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell and turntablist Joe Hahn.

“When I started hearing Emily’s voice on the songs, it was like my brain accepted it as a Linkin Park song for the first time,” Shinoda told Zane Lowe in an interview.

“It was infectious and really, really fun,” Armstrong added. “…this could work.”

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming North American From Zero shows on websites like Vivid Seats, with tickets officially going on sale Saturday, September 7.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticket sales platform. Prices may be higher or lower than face value depending on demand.

They have a 100% Buyer Guarantee which means your transaction is safe and secure and delivery will be made before the event.

New music from Linkin Park

Before the release of the new album, Linkin Park released the successful first single “The Emptiness Machine”.

After a quiet start – by band standards – Armstrong comes in and takes over vocals at around 1:10 and immediately makes a strong impression. The Dead Sara singer’s uncompromising falsetto immediately breathes life into the dramatic lyrics that are typical of the band (Let you cut me open just to watch me bleed is as Linkin Park as it gets) and quickly establishes her as a force to be reckoned with. In short, she’s a revelation.

Emily Armstrong controversy

Although Armstrong could be a good fit for Linkin Park, she has quite a checkered past.

The 38-year-old singer has ties to the Church of Scientology and while it is unclear if she is still affiliated with the organization, this news has angered fans of her new band.

Armstrong is also said to have been present at the rape trial and sentencing of actor Danny Masterson. There is currently no information about her relationship with Masterson, who was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison.
