Where is the best place to be a ghost?

My favorite voicemail we got this week on KFC Radio was, “Where is the best place to be a ghost?” The point that was most discussed in the group was whether or not you want to be in a place where you have to be surrounded by people.

They’ve recreated a lot of places in nature, like a rainforest or a volcano. Cool, yeah, but what are you going to do there after a week? I can only watch an extremely rare animal in the rainforest or a volcanic eruption so many times before it becomes too much. You have to be a ghost in a place where things are constantly changing and that keeps you entertained… because you’re going to be there for a long time.

For me, the only possible answer to that question is Madison Square Garden. All winter long, you can watch Knicks, Rangers, and St. John’s games for free, and then you also get a front row seat to the Big East tournament every March. And on top of that, you get to see the best bands, singers, rappers, and comedians week after week, all year long. Remember, that also means access to the locker room, and I know Thibs is screwing people over in the half. That alone is worth it. Let’s take a quick look at some of the things that await us there as a ghost:

(A little Bruce to start the weekend never hurt anyone.)

The only downside to being a ghost at MSG is knowing you’ll never see a team hoist a trophy there because we know the Knicks and Rangers will never see it, but that’s okay, no place is perfect.
