Where can I buy the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection?

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the original PlayStation console. To celebrate this milestone, Sony is releasing the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, a collection of modern PlayStation items that feature the light grey of the 1994 PlayStation and the original console’s colourful logo. The collection includes a PS5 Pro bundle, a PS5 Digital Edition bundle, PS Portal, DualSense Edge controller and a standard DualSense controller.

All items of the 30th Anniversary Edition are available in limited quantities and will be released on November 21st with Pre-orders open today, September 26, at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET on PS Direct. The entire collection of PlayStation 30th Anniversary Limited Edition items will be available for pre-order from PS Direct starting September 26. Please note that the 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro, the PS Portal and the DualSense Edge Controller will be available exclusively from PS Direct and will not be available at other retailers.

PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection at other retailers

While the PS5 Pro, PS Portal and DualSense Edge Controller will be available exclusively from PS Direct, the other two items can also be pre-ordered from select retailers. The DualSense 30th Anniversary Controller is available for pre-order from these retailers starting todaywhile the The PS5 30th Anniversary Digital Edition will be available at other retailers on October 10.

The Retro-Style PS5 Pro Console Bundle includes a ton of accessories and collectibles. The bundle itself includes a PS1-style PS5 Pro console, a standard DualShock controller, a DualSense Edge controller, a controller charging station, a vertical stand, and a cover for the PS5 disc drive (the drive is sold separately, but you can get it here).

The PlayStation Anniversary pack also includes a bunch of neat callbacks and other PlayStation items. The controller cable is a standard USB-C cable, but has a PS1-style casing on one side, which is pretty adorable. Some other PlayStation trinkets are also included, like a paperclip and cable ties adorned with PS iconography.

Sony notes that only 12,300 copies of this bundle will be made, so if you want a chance to grab one, be sure to get in the pre-order queue when it goes live.

The PS5 Digital Edition 30th Anniversary Pack includes the same content as the Pro Pack, but a Digital Edition of the standard PS5 instead of the new PS5 Pro.

PlayStation Portal Remote Player – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition

This portable PS5 game streaming device comes without accessories, but features the original console’s color scheme and the colorful ’90s PS logo.

DualSense Edge Wireless Controller – Limited Edition for the 30th Anniversary

This is the same DualSense Edge Pro-style controller that’s been around for a while, but done up in PS1 style to make it look extra fresh. This is a great controller, so it should come as no surprise that it’s at the top of our list of the best PS5 controllers.

DualSense Wireless Controller – Limited Edition for the 30th Anniversary

It’s a regular DualSense PS5 controller, but in the original PlayStation colors. I like it.
