Halloween is about eight weeks away, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t start preparing for the spooky holiday.

According to the Instagram page @snackolator, McDonald’s is getting ready. The fast food giant is bringing back Boo Buckets.

What are Boo Buckets?

Boo Buckets are plastic buckets that McDonald’s distributes with its Happy Meals in October. Children use them to collect their candy loot on Halloween.

The buckets are decorated with Halloween motifs such as mummies, vampires or Frankenstein monsters.

When do McDonald’s have Boo Buckets?

Although no official date has been announced, the buckets usually come out around October 13th.

What will the Boo Buckets look like?

It has not been announced yet. The account @snackolator said the buckets shown in its Instagram post came from another country.

Wendy’s launches HalloWEENDY

Wendy’s got ahead of McDonald’s on Monday when the fast-food chain launched its new children’s menu collection “Frosty Frights.”

What are Wendy’s Frosty Freights?

Frosty Frights kids’ toys are inspired by the iconic Frosty treat. Featuring spooky characters like Franken Frosty, Frosty Bite, Coolie Ghoulie, Brrr Beast, Cold Spell and Junior, fans can collect 11 toy figures.

The characters are featured in a special edition of the Boo! book, available for $1. The book includes coupons for five free Jr. Frosty treats and a sixth bonus coupon that can be used to redeem a $1.99 Wendy’s Kids’ Meal with any purchase.

Frosty Frights kids’ menus are available until November 3rd.
