Washington Commanders trade Jahan Dotson “best for the team,” says Dan Quinn

The NFL was shaken up a bit this week when the Washington Commanders traded wide receiver Jahan Dotson to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for draft picks.

The move came as a surprise to many, especially given that Dotson was expected to be the second wide receiver alongside Terry McLaurin on offense. However, the Commanders’ front office and coaching staff had other ideas.

“I think at the end of the day, we’re always going to make the decisions that are absolutely sound and what’s best for the team,” coach Dan Quinn said. “And this was one of those examples where we had the opportunity to do that, and that’s why we did it.”
