The Washington Capitals have announced the squad that will play its second preseason game on Tuesday night against the Boston Bruins (7:00 p.m. ET, Monumental Sports Network locally, NHL Network nationally).
Center Pierre Luc Dubois, who was acquired from the Los Angeles Kings on June 19 in exchange for Darcy Kuemper, and left wing Ilya Protas, who was selected 78th in the first round of the draft by Washington in June, are the most notable players who will compete at TD Garden.
The Capitals will give former top picks Terik Parascak (assist in Sunday’s 6-2 loss to Philadelphia), Ivan Miroshnichenko (goal) and Andrew Cristall (goal) another chance on offense after they all shined in the team’s season opener.
Tuesday’s trip will be Washington’s first in a series of back-to-back games, as the team is scheduled to play the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday night.
Teams must field at least eight veterans per exhibition game. Below you can see the Capitals roster expected to compete in Boston:
