Two people at a restaurant in Kent were injured when a vehicle crashed into the business.
According to an Aug. 14 email from Puget Sound Fire Department spokesman Pat Pawlak, firefighters responded to the Imperial Garden restaurant at the Great Wall Shopping Mall, 18230 E. Valley Highway, around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
Two people in the restaurant were injured, Pawlak said. They were treated by firefighters from Puget Sound Fire and Renton Regional Fire Authority, as well as paramedics from King County Medic One. Paramedics took one person to a Seattle-area hospital and the second to a local hospital.
No one in the vehicle was injured.
Kent Police are investigating how the driver crashed into the building. Kent Police have not yet provided the Kent Reporter with any information about the driver or how the vehicle entered the restaurant.
