UFC 307 weigh-in results: Alex Pereira and Raquel Pennington set to defend their titles

Alex Pereira and Raquel Pennington put their championships on the line in Salt Lake City on Saturday.

The main and co-main event of UFC 307 is expected to take place, with Pereira (205) and Pennington (135) successfully making weight for their respective title defenses at Friday’s official weigh-ins. Pereira faces Khalil Rountree Jr., who also weighed 205 pounds, and Pennington takes on Julianna Peña in a long-awaited grudge match. Peña stepped on the scale at 134.5 pounds.

The winner of the bantamweight title fight may be former PFL star Kayla Harrison, who weighed 136 pounds in her main event against Ketlen Vieira (136). After beginning her career at lightweight, Harrison has now successfully made the bantamweight mark twice, although both times she used the one pound weight limit for a non-title fight.

Should Harrison defeat Vieira and earn a shot at the title, she must weigh 135 pounds or less to qualify for a championship shot.

All 24 fighters who competed Saturday at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City made weights, including two-time strawweight champion Carla Esparza, who announced she will retire after her fight with Tecia Pennington.
