September 5, 2024 – NBC News will present comprehensive coverage of the presidential debate on Tuesday night, broadcasting the entire debate live on NBC and NBC News NOW. It will offer extensive primetime coverage on both networks starting at 8 p.m., and breaking analysis and the latest reports from Philadelphia will be available throughout the day on NBCNews.com and the NBC News app.

NBC Evening News anchor Lester Holt And TODAY Co-moderator Savannah Guthrie will host a primetime pre-debate special on NBC and NBC News NOW beginning at 8 p.m., followed by a live presentation of the debate moderated by ABC News on both networks at 9 p.m. Holt and Guthrie will continue special coverage following the debate.

Top news anchor Tom Lamas And Evening news from the weekend anchor Hallie Jackson will lead coverage on NBC News NOW at 11 p.m., alongside Meet the press Host Kristen Welker. Llamas, Jackson and Welker will provide streaming coverage late into the evening, with contributions from chief political analyst Chuck Todd and a team of experts from NBC News breaking down the news, seeing through the manipulation, and providing comprehensive debate analysis after the debate.

NBCNews.com will feature a comprehensive live blog on Tuesday with live updates and unique insights from NBC News’ extensive team of correspondents, reporters, producers and embeds covering the 2024 campaign.
