The NYT Mini is a quick and easy version of the newspaper’s longer-running crossword. Most days there are between three and five clues in each direction on a 5×5 grid, but the puzzles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays.

So that you don’t get stuck and have to look up missing letters, here you will find the NYT Mini Crossword answers for Tuesday, September 3 (Of course there are spoilers):

It has me 0:43 to complete today’s NYT Mini.

A third sub-60 solution in a row. I can’t be mad about that. On my first pass of the Across clues I got MERCH, AGILE and ASTRO. The only word I was missing on the Down pass was EGADS, but I had given myself enough clues to fill in AGILE and IDEAL at that point. I have to give myself a pat on the back for that.
