Titans’ Will Levis is the NFL’s “most exciting quarterback,” says Jason Kelce

ESPN analyst (and future Pro Football Hall of Famer) Jason Kelce is weeks into his post-football television career, but his hot-taking skills are already in good shape.

Kelce said during ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” pregame show before Monday’s Titans-Dolphins game that Will Levis is the “most exciting quarterback in football.”

“I have no idea what’s going to happen when he has the ball,” Kelce said Monday, half-jokingly. “Either it will be the craziest throw I’ve ever seen…”

“…or the craziest throw I’ve ever seen,” Kelce and fellow analyst Ryan Clark said simultaneously of Levis’ hit-or-miss nature.

Levis enters Monday’s game against the Dolphins with eight turnovers in three games, including at least one interception and one lost fumble in each of those games. The Titans lost all three games after starting 0-3.

Kelce also commented on the Titans’ offensive line, calling the group “not great” but citing offensive line coach Bill Callahan as a reason for optimism.

As for Clark and Marcus Spears, the third former player on ESPN’s pregame show, both feel that given the offensive weapons on the roster, the Titans should consider a possible move at quarterback if the current QB1’s major mistakes continue stop for the second year.

“This is all about your quarterback,” Spears said. “This is where it starts and ends. So to your point (Clark): If Mason Rudolph gives you the best chance this week, you have to play Mason Rudolph. Because a lot of times we can look at young quarterbacks and say, ‘Well, that.’ It’s a bad situation to be in. And we have to give them time to see when they build talent around him (and see) if they can make plays.”

“Will Levis has no excuse for playing the way he’s playing right now.”
