Packers quarterback Malik Willis wants to stay focused before Sunday
Malik Willis will likely be the starting quarterback in the Packers’ home opener. He spoke to the media about his adjustment to the team.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is doubtful to play in Sunday’s opener against the Indianapolis Colts at Lambeau Field because of a strained medial ligament, but coach Matt LaFleur has not ruled him out.
Those betting, however, don’t believe LaFleur’s latest injury report. The Packers started as 3.5-point favorites and were three points off Friday with backup Malik Willis expected to start.
But while Willis’ impending start dominated conversations about the game this week, the key for the Packers to avoid an 0-2 start could be the defense’s ability to get off the field.
