The former Zeppelin Pizza Co. on James Island now houses a Thai restaurant whose owners were born and raised in Bangkok.
Ti-Ney Bangkok is now open, serving curry poppers, spring rolls, pad see ew, roasted duck on ginger rice, Phuket-inspired pho and more. The new restaurant is located at 1175 Folly Road in the same shopping center as Garage 75 and Ladles Soups.
If Ti-Ney Bangkok sounds familiar, it’s because it was the name of a restaurant that opened in Goose Creek four years ago. The owners of that eatery – now known as Bangkok Restaurant – sold the naming rights to Ti-Ney to Panipak Boonprajak and Attapon Monpichit, the owners of the new James Island destination.
Monpichit’s mother, Salukjit Saetiew, runs the kitchen as head chef.
Ti-Ney Bangkok is open Monday to Thursday from 11am to 10pm and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 11pm. For more information, visit tineybangkokfolly.com.
