The proceeds from the “Concert for Carolina” will benefit the victims of Hurricane Helene

Luke Combs and other country artists are using their talents to raise money for communities in need after Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc across the Southeast.

All proceeds from “Concert for Carolina,” a benefit show featuring performances by Combs, Eric Church, Billy Strings and James Taylor, will be donated to organizations supporting relief efforts in the Carolinas and the Southeast, according to a USA TODAY press release .

The money raised will be split half between Combs and the church’s Chief Cares Foundation, who will distribute the funds to organizations of their choice.

Presented by Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority, the show will take place on Saturday, October 26th at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“The Tar Heel State is a deeply special place for all four artists, as it is where Combs, Church and Taylor grew up and first discovered their musical interests and Strings has performed many, many times throughout his career and is a very special experience offers space in his heart,” says the press release.

Combs shared the news on Instagram on Monday, writing in the caption that he let everyone know that “something big is planned for Carolina.”

“This concert required so much planning, work and coordination from so many people,” Combs wrote on social media. “I am so grateful to everyone who helped make this possible on such short notice.”

Date for “Concert for Carolina”, tickets

ESPN reporter Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley have been tapped to host the “Concert for Carolina,” taking place on Saturday, October 26, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Additional artists will join Combs, Church, Strings and Taylor on stage.

Tickets for “Concert for Carolina” will be available online starting Thursday, October 10 at 10 a.m. ET.

Donations can be made to the North Carolina Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund or other organizations for people who want to support the cause but are unable to attend.
