The National Cherry Festival gets even bigger and crazier with the performance of “Weird Al” Yankovic

TRAVERSE CITY, MI – “Weird Al” Yankovic brings his comedy rock show to the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City.

Yankovic’s performance is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1. The performance is part of his “Bigger & Weirder 2025 Tour.”

He will perform his legendary hits – including “Amish Paradise,” “Eat It,” “Like a Surgeon,” “Smells Like Nirvana,” “Word Crimes,” and the platinum-certified “White & Nerdy” – as well as fan favorites never performed live before.

This larger show includes Yankovic’s original band plus four additional players, multiple costume changes and a giant video wall.

Yankovic is the most successful comedy artist of all time and a five-time Grammy Award winner. His latest album Mandatory Fun is the only comedy album to ever debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200. In 2022, Yankovic produced and co-wrote the Emmy-winning biopic WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, starring Daniel Radcliffe.

Ticket prices for this concert, which include all ticket fees, range from $68 for general admission to $193 for a VIP experience. Reserved seats are $93. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Find more concert details here.

Presented by Maker’s Mark, The Deck offers guests complimentary alcoholic beverages, a prime view of the Bay Side Music Stage and a full buffet. There are a limited number of VIP deck passes available.

Cherry Fest takes place from June 28th to July 5th. There will be eight concert evenings on the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage.
