The NASCAR playoffs take place this weekend at Kansas Speedway

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The second round of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs rolls into action this weekend at Kansas Speedway with the Hollywood Casino 400 presented by ESPN BET on Sunday.

There will be plenty of racing on Friday and Saturday at the 1.5-mile oval in Kansas City, Kansas.

On Friday, the green flag drops for the ARCA Menard Series Reese’s 150 at 4:30 p.m. and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Kubota Tractor 200 starts at 7:30 p.m

Those from De Soto, Kan. Mandy Chick will compete in the ARCA Menard Series again this year.

Even before she was born, 22-year-old Mandy Chick of De Soto was spending time at the Kansas Speedway. She now regularly drives the No. 74 ARCA Menards Series car at her home track.

Racing continues Saturday with the first race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs, the Kansas Lottery 300, at 3 p.m

The weekend’s main race, the Hollywood Casino 400 presented by ESPN BET, begins at 2 p.m

The Fan Zone and Fan Walk are also open this weekend. The fan zone will feature multiple show times for the Wonder Wheels BMX show and Q&A sessions with riders.

The Fan Walk takes place in the infield and features live music, racing simulators and other driver appearances. Fan Walk requires an additional $15 ticket on Saturday or a pre-race pass on Sunday. The Rowdy Road concert series will take place on Sunday and will feature Bob Moses.
