The Colts QB is out with a hip injury

play

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson will miss Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Late in the first quarter, Richardson suffered a hit in the red zone that left him holding his left hip. He initially only left the game for a few games. On his first play on the field, he took another hit on a quarterback run and was slow to get back up. The second-year quarterback went to the locker room after leaving the game following a second hard hit.

Indianapolis initially listed Richardson as questionable to return because of a hip injury. With ten minutes left in the first half, the Colts ruled him out for the rest of the game.

The gunslinger was unlucky with injuries in the early games of his NFL career. During his rookie season in 2023, Richardson suffered a concussion in Week 2 and a season-ending ACL sprain in Week 5.
