The Our Place bakeware set

is one of the newest additions to the brand’s line of versatile and stylish kitchenware. Known for its best-selling Always Pan and Wonder Oven, Our Place continues to impress with versatile bakeware, some of which transition seamlessly from stovetop to oven.
This collection is designed to not only enhance your cooking experience but also save space thanks to its clever stacking design. As with many other Our Place cookware products, this set is characterized by its focus on functionality and aesthetics.

About the Our Place Bakeware Set

This bakeware set includes four pans and a reusable non-stick baking sheet.
Our Place’s bakeware collection is all about replenishing your bakeware collection with minimal space requirements.
Each included piece is designed to fit perfectly into the grill pan, saving space in the cupboard. The following is included:

As with most Our Place items, the colors coordinate with other cookware and appliances from the brand (Char, Blue Salt, Steam, Sage, Spice and Lavender), so you can make it as monochromatic or neutral as you like.
This is how we tested the Our Place bakeware set
We used each piece of the Our Place Bakeware Set to bake and roast foods like vegetables, pastries, and sheet pan dishes to see how functional the bakeware is and how much food can realistically fit in each piece.
We used the reusable non-stick baking mat for both sweet and savory dishes like cookies and fried salmon to ensure the food released as expected.
After cooking, we rinsed each piece according to the brand’s instructions to see how easy it was to clean and how difficult it was to remove burnt-on food particles.
We also left the set in our kitchen for several weeks, occasionally using it for everyday cooking tasks to determine any long-term damage and see how versatile it could be in the kitchen.
What we like
The baking tray for the stove and oven is versatile

The grill pan, which can be used on the stove or in the oven, comes with a practical, reusable non-stick mat.
Our Place’s 17″ x 11″ Grill Pan is a double whammy: It can be used as both a grill pan on the stove and as a traditional baking sheet.
The raised edges make it perfect for any type of dish: roasted vegetables, seared proteins, cookies, and more. The pan has a nonstick coating that makes it easy to prepare eggs or pancakes on the stove and also makes cleanup much easier.
The set includes the non-stick mat
Although the surface of the baking pan is nonstick, it’s always helpful to add an extra layer when baking certain foods. We love that this set comes with a reusable nonstick mat that replaces disposable parchment paper and works well for releasing foods without sticking.
It wipes clean easily whether you’ve baked cookies or a sticky portion of fried salmon. Plus, it fits on any standard baking tray, is oven safe up to 230°C, and can be put in the dishwasher after use.
It offers easy nesting for storage

The uniquely practical stacking design of this set makes storage a breeze.
This entire five-piece set is designed to stack neatly inside the grill pan, so you can easily store it in your cupboards when not in use. The three casserole dishes all fit inside the grill pan like a puzzle, so all you need to do is make room in your cupboard or drawer for the width of the pan.
And like every Our Place product, it is of course aesthetically pleasing all around!
What we don’t like
The baking tins are available in special sizes

Compared to standard Pyrex baking dishes, Our Place baking dishes have unusual shapes and high sides.
During testing, we found that the pieces included in the bakeware set had unusual shapes and sizes.
For example, many pieces seemed to fall between standard baking pan sizes: too narrow for large portions but too long for small portions. The loaf pan is the right size but taller than most, but the other two baking pans may require some recipe modifications that would normally work in a standard 8″ x 8″ baking pan.
And the tall sides – which are much higher than what we’re used to from brands like Pyrex – alter the results of some recipes. Because moisture is retained in the taller walls, it’s harder to achieve even browning in some baked goods and roasted dishes.
Should you buy the Our Place bakeware set?
Yes, if you value aesthetics in your bakeware

This set is stylish and functional, but it may not include everything you need to equip your kitchen.
If you value versatility and a stylish storage design in your kitchen, Our Place Bakeware is a great choice.
Its unique features, such as the ability to move it from the stove to the oven and the ability to stack it inside each other, make it easy to use and allow it to be stored out of sight.
However, if you often bake for a larger group or prefer browner results when baking, the unusual sizes and high sides might be a challenge for you. In this case, you may need some additional pieces to complete your bakeware collection, such as from Caraway or Pyrex.
Alternatively, you can forgo the set and just purchase the grill pan and non-stick mat separately, as we found these to be the most versatile and useful parts of the set.
