Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis was injured during the Monday Night Football game against the Dolphins

Tennessee Titans starting quarterback Will Levis did not play on his team’s third drive in Miami on Monday because he apparently injured his throwing shoulder.

Levis appeared to be injured after jumping distance during a scramble during Tennessee’s second drive. Levis was seen on Monday Night Football grimacing as he threw on the Tennessee sideline midway through the first quarter, and when the Titans took over with 4:14 to play, his backup, Mason Rudolph, replaced him as Starter.

Levis had thrown an interception earlier in the game while completing three of his four passes.

Rudolph’s effort turned the game into one led by backup quarterbacks. Tyler Huntley made his 10th career start in place of Tua Tagovailoa, who was sidelined with a head injury. Huntley committed a turnover when his return pass was deflected, resulting in a fumble that the Titans recovered.

Titans coach Brian Callahan has not decided on a starter at quarterback for the second half.

Callahan said “we’ll see” when asked who would start in the second half. He added it depends on whether Levis is physically ready to go.

Early in the third quarter, Levis was seen standing on the sideline with his helmet on, but Callahan still picked Rudolph, who led the team to a 22-6 lead in the fourth quarter.
