MORGANTOWN, W.Va (WDTV) – Taste of Morgantown will combine culinary delights with community spirit early next month.
The annual event will be held on Sunday, September 8th from 3-6 p.m. at the Hazel & JW Ruby Community Center in Mylan Park.
Organizers said the 2024 event will feature some of the region’s best restaurants, offering their unique cuisine and competing for several culinary awards.
Attendees will have the opportunity to taste dishes and vote for their favorites alongside the judges in several categories. In addition to the incredible food, the event will also feature beer, music and entertainment for children of all ages, organizers said.
“Taste of Morgantown celebrates great local food and the spirit of our community,” said Jennifer Lainhart, director of the Peak Health Aquatic Center & Track Complex at Mylan Park. “It’s an experience of culinary excellence and philanthropic generosity.”
All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Mylan Park’s community initiatives and the American Red Cross Home Fire Campaign.
