Tanner Gray wins the ARCA Menards Series race in Kansas with a flat left rear tire

With his left rear tire smoking and flat, Tanner Gray can beat Connor Zilisch at Kansas Speedway in the ARCA Menards Series. Gray won in Charlotte earlier this season and now he’s doing it in Kansas.

Tanner Gray, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing today, was fantastic in Kansas tonight. He led many laps and made up for his loss earlier this season.

Connor Zilisch launched a hard attack late, but Gray had enough to overtake him. It was a talented field of development drivers and the 25-year-old from New Mexico came out on top.

Corey Day had a really strong race today. In the final laps he was injured by late contact with Andy Jankowiak. Still, he managed to achieve a top-10 finish in his first 1.5-mile start. Throughout the race, no one really had an answer for Gray.

Earlier this year, Gray left the race behind in Kansas. That wasn’t the case this time as he led many laps and also made it to the finish with a weak left rear tire. Gray has another start tonight as he gets ready for the Truck Series race in about an hour.

Tanner Gray wins at Kansas, 2025 ARCA schedule released

Today the 2025 ARCA Menards Series schedule was released. It was a big day for ARCA as they also announced that Menards had signed an extension as title sponsor of the series. It appears the development series is in good hands.

Tanner Gray took victory in Kansas, leaving only one race left for a full-time driver to win. These part-timers beat up the drivers who were held all season long.

It was surprising that Day or Zilisch didn’t see a challenge until late. Even then, it wasn’t that much of a challenge. Gray was comfortable up front and with no pressure on his bumper or fenders he was able to race in clean air and off the field.

Toldeo will once again be the ARCA Menards Series season finale. Andres Perez hopes he has a better race than tonight, otherwise he risks losing the battle for championship points.
