While left-leaning Swifties continue to celebrate Taylor Swift‘s approval of the Kamala Harris–Tim Walz They have chosen to run in the 2024 election, which has boosted donations and voter registrations, and have taken to social media to drive right-wing fans crazy. Some joking, non-joking tweets invite politically conservative fans (human people, not the AI-generated whatever that is) to Donald Trump tried to pose as the “Swifties for Trump” movement) in order to steal their coveted tickets for the Eras Tour.
“If you’re upset about Taylor’s support, I understand you. Let me help you sell your Eras tour merch and tickets to ease your woes. I’m thinking $20 or less per merch item and maybe $75 for tickets?? The faster you get rid of it the better,” one hopeful user wrote on Wednesday.
This fan is “desperate” for tickets to one of Swift’s scheduled Toronto shows, and this one is looking for “conservative people” who have snagged tickets to her November 3 show. Another offered to “buy your Eras tour tickets so you don’t get exposed to her crazy liberal self!!!!!!!!!!!” In a reply to that tweet, he clarified (along with the laughing-crying emoji) that the offer was “out of the goodness of my heart.” Not all heroes wear capes!
Another patriot chimed in with a classic riposte: “I am deeply saddened by Taylor Swift’s support of Kamala Harris. I am not only sad for myself and my country, but also for the Trump supporters who will no longer feel safe at the Eras tour. As a sign of my service, I will gladly take any ticket to the Eras tour of any true patriot and go in your honor.”
Right host Meg Kelly discussed Swift’s support on her SiriusXM radio show and made it clear that firstly, she is not enthusiastic and secondly, she does not remember Swift supporting Harris in 2020 when Swift advocated for Joe Bidenwith Harris as his vice president.
“You can kiss your sales to the Republican audience goodbye, Taylor,” Kelly said. “I hope you enjoyed them while you had them.”
Since endorsing Biden and Harris in 2020, Swift has released three new studio albums and four (Taylor’s version) re-recorded albums, launched the record-breaking Eras Tour and released the accompanying concert film (also record-breaking), and became the first billionaire to achieve this status solely through her artistic performances and recordings. If Kelly were to journalistically check herself and create all this magic without any Republicans donate, and then, wow, Swift is even more impressive than we thought.
“Fuck you, Taylor Swift, and fuck all the people who want to see these kids get their body parts chopped off and sterilized under the age of consent and then run off to their multimillion-dollar mansions and never think about them again,” Kelly continued.

While trying to downplay the significance of Swift’s endorsement, other conservatives claimed her fans were teenagers and girls between the ages of 10 and 20 who were too young to vote anyway. Another fact check, please?
A 2023 Morning Consult poll conducted ahead of the launch of the Eras Tour found that 53 percent of U.S. adults described themselves as fans of Swift. That’s not half of her Fans are adults, that is half of adults are fans. Of those adult fans who identified themselves as such, 55 percent said they were Democrats, while Republicans and independents each made up about 23 percent. Women were slightly more likely to be Swift fans than men, a ratio of 52 percent to 48 percent.
A woman claims to be selling three tickets she bought for her daughter’s 13th birthday, but “I don’t want to spend another dollar supporting you and your private planes and your non-Christian beliefs. I also don’t want my Christian daughter to think it’s OK to do things that go against God’s word, like killing babies.”
