The 2024 Presidents Cup begins tomorrow morning at the Royal Montreal in Quebec, Canada, with five four-ball matches pitting two pairs against each other in the best-ball format. However, four-a-side games follow on Friday and Saturday. And on Sunday there will be twelve traditional singles games. On Wednesday afternoon, team captains Jim Furyk and Mike Weir chose their pairing for Thursday’s four-ball games.

The Americans have won the Presidents Cup nine times in a row since 2003, when the Americans and the international team were tied 17-17. However, their dominance does not end there. They have won 12 of the 14 Presidents Cups, drawing only in 2003 and losing in Melbourne, Australia in 1998.

The US team will be hard to beat again this year as it features some of the best players in the world, including Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Scottie Scheffler. But the international team is also no problem with stars like Jason Day, Hideki Matsuyama and Adam Scott at their side. Every team will tee off here on Thursday.
