Stalemate between Bayern and Leverkusen, St. Pauli celebrates its first Bundesliga win in 13 years

BERLIN (AP) — Bayern Munich dominated a 1-1 draw with defending champion Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. The Bavarian powerhouse’s inability to score a winner ends their six-game winning start to the season in all competitions. Elias Saad scored two goals and assisted another as St. Pauli celebrated their first Bundesliga win in 13 years with a 3-0 win at Freiburg. St. Pauli secured promotion as second division champions last season. German striker Deniz Undav scored in stoppage time to salvage a 2-2 draw for Stuttgart’s 10-man side at Wolfsburg. Tomas Cvancara also scored late to give Borussia Mönchengladbach a 1-0 win over Union Berlin. Heidenheim celebrated a 2-0 win in Mainz and Leipzig won 4-0 as guests in Augsburg.
