STATEN ISLAND, NY — There’s no shortage of fun and things to do this Labor Day weekend with great weather.

Festival for Peace and Unity

Saturday, August 31, in Livingston

The K Woods Foundation is pleased to announce the second edition of the Peace & Unity Festival, a festival of pride and unity at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden from 5-8pm. Performances by Jim Jones, Julez Santana, Smiff N Wessun, Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Connie Diamond, Abby Jasmine, Chey, Freekey Zekey and more, in addition to a special appearance by Ghostface Killah & Friends.

Richmond County Fair

Saturday, August 31 to Monday, September 2, in Richmond

The three-day annual event in historic Richmond Town is always the place to see and be seen. This year, War Cannon Spirits and Crown Point Coffee House are exhibiting. Vendors can still apply for a booth. Ticket proceeds go to Staten Island Historical Society programs — HistoricRichmondTown.org

Sunday, September 1, in Livingston

Sponsored by iHeart Radio and Elvis Duran of Z-100 and Power 105 — and many other supporters — the first New York event will take place from noon to 6 p.m. at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden in Livingston. Hosted by Staten Island native Shawn-ae Dixon and her team from Stapleton’s acclaimed Shaw-naé’s House, tickets are free with registration.
