For Texas A&M football fans, Saturday night was full of excitement as they watched the Aggies cruise their way to a 26-20 victory over a well-coached Bowling Green team.
Head coach Mike Elko knew exactly what kind of team was coming to Bryan-College Station and warned his team that the Falcons would embarrass them if they weren’t focused. After 60 minutes, the team understood what coach Elko meant and could finally breathe a sigh of relief when backup tight end Donovan Green recovered the onside kick in the final seconds of the game.
This win was interesting because Bowling Green also went into the fourth quarter against top-10 team Penn State before ultimately losing. Since the college football postseason relies heavily on strength of schedule and “style points,” it’s hard to say where this win ranks.
Below are some social media reactions to Aggies’ win over Bowling Green on Saturday night
That’s exactly how every Aggie fan felt at the end of the game
Bowling Green is legitimate at least at the beginning of this season
Jimbo Fisher catches a stray here, but I see no lies
Jimbo Fisher would have lost that game. I’m sure of it.

Former Bowling Green Falcon Cashius Howell gets love from his former teammates
Bowling Green plays well even in bright light
Texas A&M narrowly wins at home against the Falcons
Of course, the guys down the street think the Aggies should be out of the top 25
Texas A&M does not have to be ranked next week.

It wasn’t pretty, but a win is a win
FINAL STANDARD: No. 25, Texas A&M 26, Bowling Green 20.
An ugly game for the Aggies in all three phases. There isn’t much positive to take from it other than A&M is now 3-1 and has won three games in a row.
Next up: Arkansas next Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The feature film will not be pretty this week
If you’ve played, you know this is going to be a tough week of training for the team (in a good way).
If you win ugly…game continues

Overrated or not, hopefully Coach Elko is the one to get them back on the right track
The Aggies are consistently one of the most overrated teams in the country…I hope for their incredible fans that they can turn it around https://t.co/hfnEwlafES
