Nightcap
Shannon Sharpe came clean on Wednesday, revealing his wild social media activity… and admitting he wasn’t hacked when his Instagram went live during a sex act.
The Denver Broncos legend spoke about the shocking incident on his show “Nightcap” a few minutes ago… and puts it all down to the fact that he is not particularly tech-savvy.
“Of course I am ashamed of someone who leads such a very private life,” Sharpe said, adding that he was “disappointed” in himself – not because he committed the act, but because of the consequences, particularly the impact on those around him.
As for some internet speculation surrounding the broadcast, Sharpe denied that it was staged or a prank, claiming he simply threw his phone on his bed before engaging with an unknown woman… and as luck would have it, all the right buttons were pushed to go live.
Sharpe’s co-host, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson chimed in … and said his phone blew up so many times after the incident that he initially thought a family member had died.
The two eventually changed their moods and joked about the whole thing… and Sharpe even claimed that he would leave his phone in the car before having sex in the future.
As we previously reported, Sharpe quickly became a hot topic on social media … after the Hall of Famer’s profile went live during an obvious sex act. Shortly thereafter, a story was posted on his page claiming that his account had been hacked.
Sharpe said a member of his team passed on the message to try to de-escalate the situation … but the ESPN anchor felt it was better to just tell the truth.
