Selena Gomez tried her best when she received her first nomination for Only murders in the building at the 2024 Emmys.

Gomez, 32, opted for a custom black Ralph Lauren dress with silver embellishments as she posed for photos at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 15.

The 32-year-old actress is nominated for the first time as best actress in a comedy for her role as Mabel in “The 40 Years of Comedy”. Gomez previously fueled speculation about her relationship status with Blanco, 36, when she shared a mirror selfie of them with a heart emoji strategically placed above her left ring finger. Earlier this year, Blanco dropped hints about his plans to propose to Gomez in the future.

At a performance on The Howard Stern Show In May, the host said he was “predicting a wedding” for the couple, to which Blanco replied, “You and me.”

The pair initially struck up a friendship while collaborating on several of Gomez’s tracks, including “Same Old Love” and “I Can’t Get Enough.” They also worked together on “Single Soon,” which was released in August 2023. Gomez confirmed their romance in December 2023, when she announced that she had been dating Blanco for “six months.”

“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” she wrote in an Instagram comment at the time. “He (was) the best thing that ever happened to me. End. … He is still better than anyone I have been with. Facts.”

Before she got together with Blanco, Gomez made headlines for her on-off relationship with Justin BieberShe was also connected with Zedd And The Weeknd before she found love with Blanco.

“I never said this, but unfortunately I cannot carry children of my own,” she revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair published on Monday, September 9. “I have many health issues that would put my life and the baby’s life at risk. That was something I had to grieve for a while.”

Gomez noted that she is “doing much better” after processing the upheavals of her journey to motherhood, adding, “I feel blessed that there are wonderful people who are willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both great options for me.”

She continued, “I’m really grateful for the other options for people who are desperate to become mothers. I’m one of those people. I’m excited to see what that journey looks like, but it’s going to look a little different. At the end of the day, I don’t care. It’s going to be mine. It’s going to be my baby.”
