The Disney Channel Wizards Beyond Waverly Place The series has finally received its first teaser, giving fans a taste of the upcoming spinoff. This comes after over a decade since the original sitcom completed its four seasons.
The video functions A look behind the scenes of the production of Wizards Beyond Waverly Placeand gave a foretaste of the Wizards of Waverly Place spin-off. This includes a revisit of the Russos’ iconic family hideaway. It will also highlight the return of original cast members Selena Gomez and David Henrie. The Golden Globe nominee will guest star, while Henrie will be part of the spin-off’s main cast. Both will serve as executive producers. This is the latest collaboration for Gomez and Henrie, having previously worked as co-executive producers on the latter’s feature film directorial debut. This is the year.

Hulu has released an official trailer for season 4 of Only Murders in the Building, which features Melissa McCarthy joining the cast.
The original sitcom ran for four seasons from 2007 to 2012. It revolved around the magical training of siblings Justin, Alex and Max Russo, who competed with each other to see who would become the official family wizard. The official synopsis for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place says: “It’s about adult Justin Russo, who has decided to live a normal, mortal life with his family Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie home for help, Justin realizes he must brush up on his magical skills to mentor the sorcerer’s apprentice while also fulfilling his everyday duties – and securing the future of the wizarding world.”
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place was written and executive produced by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas, and directed by Andy Flickman. The spinoff will introduce a number of new characters, including Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo, Max Matenko as Milo Russo, Taylor Cora as Winter, and Mimi Gianopulos as Giada Russo. In addition to Gomez and Henrie, David DeLuise was also confirmed to reprise his role as Jerry, the father of Alex, Justin, and Max. The new sitcom will also be executive produced by Flickman, Gary Marsh, and Jonas Agin. It is a Disney Branded Television production.

According to Gomez, the next episode of the acclaimed Hulu comedy is her “favorite season yet.” She revealed that she is excited to see what happens next with Mabel, Charles and Oliver. “I think this is our most exciting season yet. I would definitely say that with conviction because it was just too much fun,” she said. “The way it all came together was so magical. Everyone had a blast. And people are in for a great time, you know. Bringing us to LA and then doing all the other stuff is exciting. It’s probably going to be my favorite season yet.”
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place will premiere later this year on Disney Channel and Disney+.
