Temperatures this mid-August weekend feel like… well, mid-August! We’ll be hovering around our seasonal average of 109° all weekend.
It’s a bit humid in the Coachella Valley today. Dew point temperatures will be between 4 and 10 degrees this morning across most of the valley. It will be dry tonight, but similar conditions are expected tomorrow afternoon.
Tonight and overnight it will be lightly windy in the desert, with gusts between 20 and 25 mph in Palm Springs.
This weekend brings seasonable temperatures before we see a slight warming trend to start the work week, with Tuesday set to be the warmest. Things cool off again on Wednesday, with a wave of more monsoon moisture and a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms in the mountains and high desert.
