New York-based chain Hook & Reel, which specializes in Cajun-style seafood dishes, has just opened its first branch in the Californian capital.

On Monday it was not yet clear when the restaurant would celebrate its grand opening.

The Sacramento Bee reached out to the restaurant for comment via Instagram, email and phone, but had not received a response as of Monday morning.
