Sabrina Carpenter names ‘hot’ fan on ‘Short n’ Sweet’ show

There’s a chance Sabrina Carpenter will call you in the middle of her performance if she likes what she sees.

The “Espresso” singer gave a small shout-out to a fan from North Carolina at a venue in Columbus, Ohio, where she kicked off her “Short n’ Sweet” tour on Monday night.

A fan recorded the exchange between Carpenter and the fan, which shows her on stage with two dancers, checking out the audience while police sirens blared in the background.

Carpenter gestures and points hatefully at a male fan and asks the audience, “Do you see him?” Sir, you are under arrest because you are too hot.”

The fans eat the piece and cheer loudly as the fan jumps up and down with the hat in his hand. Carpenters chats a little longer with the male fan and asks him what his name is and where he comes from.

“Daniel,” she says as she fans herself and straightens her hair. The clip ends with Carpenter laughing to herself after learning that Daniel is from North Carolina.

Short n’ Sweet’s first tour stop was “sweet,” says the singer

Carpenter took to social media Monday night to share some of her favorite moments from the Columbus show, writing, “OPENING NIGHT WAS SWEET FOR SURE!!!!”

“Thank you Columbus for the sold out show, for dressing up and singing every single word :’) I’m so happy to see all your beautiful faces again,” she wrote.

Carpenter will play Tuesday night at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, where she will see the “pretty faces” of her Canadian fans once again.
