Carpenter, 25, stepped out in a sheer white dress while attending an after-party for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City on Wednesday, September 11. At the party, which took place at Electric Lady Studio, Carpenter looked stunning in a lace dress with a round neckline, puff sleeves with bows at the wrists and a figure-hugging silhouette. Underneath, the “Espresso” singer wore a white balconette bra and matching underwear.
Carpenter paired her outfit with platform peep-toe pumps and a handbag with pink and red kiss marks, a nod to the cover of her album “Short n’ Sweet.”
Carpenter wore glamorous makeup with blue eyeshadow blended into the crease, a highlighted inner corner of the eye, manicured eyebrows, rosy cheeks, mascara and pink lips. Her blonde hair was styled in her signature bouncy blow-dry, and her curtain bangs framed her face.

Before heading out into the city, Carpenter wowed at the awards ceremony in a white vintage dress by Bob Mackie. Her dress, which was once worn by Madonna from 1991, featured a sweetheart neckline, a beaded bodice, and silver crystal embellishments along the neckline.
The singer accessorized with a diamond necklace, dangling earrings and chrome rings. Her manicure featured white polish and crystal accents. Carpenter’s hair was parted on the side and worn in big curls.
Her makeup included glossy red lips, glittery eyeshadow and extra pink cheeks.

“I’ve never won anything like this before,” Carpenter said as she accepted the award. “This is really special. The first people I want to thank are the fans,” she gushed, also praising her family, her manager and her pets.
