Rudy Giuliani’s daughter says she’s voting for Harris and ‘mourning the loss of my father’ to Trump

The daughter of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) said in a Monday article for Vanity Fair that she supports Vice President Harris and “mourns the loss” of her father to former President Trump.

“I have spent much of my life wishing my father had less power,” Caroline Giuliani said in her Vanity Fair article. “But I never wanted it to happen like that. And the deeper my father gets into the quicksand of his problems, the more fleeting our opportunities to connect as father and daughter become.

“After months of feeling the kind of grief that comes with the death of a loved one, I realized that I was grieving the loss of my father to Trump,” Caroline Giuliani continued. “I can’t bear to lose our country to him too.”

This isn’t the first time Caroline Giuliani has endorsed a Democrat for president instead of Trump.

She also reportedly supported Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016, saying on Facebook that she was “pro-Hillary all the time.”

In her Vanity Fair piece, Caroline Giuliani said she expressed “her unwavering support for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz” and explained that she is “a recently engaged 35-year-old hoping to be happier.” “Afraid of the possibility , to become a mother herself” and that she is obliged “to work for a future in which it is worth taking in children.”

“We live at a crossroads of history, where not only the future of our democracy but our planet is at stake,” said the former mayor’s daughter.

The elder Giuliani was disbarred by a federal appeals court in the nation’s capital last week for trying to stop the transfer of power after Trump lost the 2020 election.
