Rishabh Pant’s Birthday: Yuvraj Singh’s Special Wish for ‘Comeback King’ Goes Viral

Team India’s star wicketkeeper and batsman Rishabh Pant received birthday wishes on Friday as he turned 27 years old. Pant, who was born on October 4, 1997, recently helped India beat Bangladesh in a two-match Test series. It was his first test experience after an absence of almost two years. Pant had suffered a life-threatening car accident in December 2022 and suffered multiple injuries. While it initially looked like he would have to be sidelined for a while, Pant made a remarkable recovery earlier this year.

He made his comeback to the field during the IPL before helping India win the T20 World Cup in June this year. On the occasion of his birthday, Yuvraj expressed a special wish for Pant and highlighted his epic comeback.

“Happy birthday to the comeback king. @RishabhPant17 Work hard and be your fearless self! I hope the coming year will be a year of fulfillment. God bless you always,” Yuvraj wrote in a post on social media platform X.

Ahead of the upcoming five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Australian batsman Marnus Labuschagne described Pant as the “most fun” player in the Indian team.

Pant, who will be touring Australia for the third time, will play an important role in India’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy defense from the first Test in Perth on November 22.

Pant played a key role in India’s Test series victory during the recent tour of Australia in 2020-21 and Labuschagne called him a “funny” guy but praised him for playing the sport in the “right spirit”.

“The one I always find most amusing is Rishabh Pant. He is always funny, has a great laugh and plays the game in the right spirit,” Labuschagne told Star Sports.

Rohit Sharma and Co. are aiming for their fifth consecutive Test series win against Australia, as well as their third consecutive win Down Under.
