The 2024 lineup includes Pavement, Beck, Fall Out Boy, Slayer and more
CHICAGO (WLS) — Riot Fest 2024 is returning to Douglass Park, they announced Wednesday on their Facebook page and website.
Riot Fest announced in June that they would move the 2024 festival to SeatGeek Stadium in the suburb of Bridgeview after failing to reach an agreement with the Chicago Park District.

Disagreements arose between the festival management and some residents around Douglas Park over issues such as access to the park and noise pollution during the multi-day music festival.
But on a Wednesday afternoon, the festival announced its return to the city in a post on its website and Facebook page.
“Fueled by the overwhelming support of the city of Chicago and our fans, we are excited to announce that we are returning to Chicago and Douglass Park. Without Chicago, there would be no Riot Fest,” the statement said.
The 2024 festival will continue to take place from September 20 to 22.
Anyone who returned their ticket in June will have the opportunity to repurchase their ticket at the early bird price. Instructions on how to do so can be found on the Riot Fest website.
All previously purchased tickets will be honored at Douglass Park, but tickets cannot be refunded or returned.
All parking passes will be automatically refunded, Riot Fest said, and the previously announced shuttle program will be discontinued. If you purchased shuttle passes, those will be refunded as well.
Riot Fest 2024 headliners include Fall Out Boy, Beck, Pavement and Slayer, with other artists including The Offspring, St. Vincent, Spoon, Bright Eyes, Public Enemy, NOFX, Rob Zombie and Dr. Dog.
Tickets are available at RiotFest.org. The daily schedule will be released at 10am on Thursday.
