Ralph Englestad Arena is introducing new facilities for the 2024-25 ice hockey season

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The University of North Dakota (UND) men’s ice hockey team begins its 2024-25 season on Saturday and fans can look forward to some new amenities at Ralph Englestad Arena (REA)!

During the offseason, Ralph conducted fan experience surveys to gather information and opportunities for improvement. New amenities and know-before-you-go information for the season include:

-Party on the Plaza: Celebrate the 2024 US Hockey Hall of Fame Game at REA Plaza, Saturday, October 12, from 3-5 p.m. before the game. Enjoy the energy and live music with Slamabama. Slamabama will deliver the hits, along with draft beer, NUTRL seltzer and more. The event is rain or shine.

-Mobile Ticketing: Now it’s time to log in to your My North Dakota account to view your tickets and then add them to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay. Questions? For more information, visit theralph.com/events/ticket-info.

-Official AND Athletics NIL Items: Visit the Sioux Shop in the Lobby, Sioux Shop Up Top, or go online to purchase official items.

-Remodeled Lactation Station: New flooring, lighting, seating, walls and decor have been added for a significantly improved, fan and family friendly experience.

-Light ‘Em Up: We add 24 additional “show” lights in the main bowl for improved and more creative lighting effects. This brings the total number of “show” lights in the Bowl to 58. We are also bringing the show to the home bench and UND entrance tunnel with new lighting effects and CO2 jets to further highlight the UND hockey team each night goes on the ice.

– $20,000 50/50 Saturdays: Due to popular demand, Ralph Engelstad Arena is once again offering the opportunity to share a minimum pot of $20,000 at every Saturday home hockey game! Visit a 50/50 kiosk along the main and upper concourses to purchase your 50/50 tickets.

-TVs in the elevators: In response to guest feedback, each of the four elevators in the main arena is now equipped with a television so fans never lose track of the game, even while riding in the elevator!

-UND/REA Ticket Office Text Club: Join the new Text Club and benefit from special offers, advance ticket sales, updates and more. Click here to register.

-NUTRL Zone: This newly renamed cocktail area located outside of Section 106 offers a variety of NUTRL Vodka Seltzer flavors, canned Cutwater cocktails, poured cocktails, and draft Busch Light and Michelob Ultra beer.

-AND Gameday App: Download the app to play a variety of interactive games with fantastic prizes, including Check in to Win, Guess the Goalscorer, Trivia Challenge and Player of the Game. -Drink addition: A selection of energy drinks are available for purchase at two exclusive energy drink machines in the main hall. Don’t wait in line, use an energy drink machine.

– UND Student Concession Discount: To recognize the important role that UND students play in the UND hockey program, UND students can purchase from a select menu of concession items at a discount this season at the Wishbone Kitchen concession stand (outside of Section 106). when they show their valid UND student ID at UND hockey games.

Tickets for Saturday night’s game are available at Ticketmaster.com and at the UND/REA box office. Saturday night’s game also marks Ralph Englestad Arena’s 23rd birthday.
