Qantas plays a sexually explicit film on every screen during the flight and apologizes

A major Australian airline is apologizing after showing a sexually explicit film on every single screen during a 10-hour flight… frightening passengers who had no say in the in-flight entertainment.

The film on this flight was “Daddio”… starring Dakota Johnson And Sean Penn and features graphic nudity, sexting and plenty of profanity.

The film’s IMDB parental guide states: “Photos of naked female breasts and a prosthetic penis are shown on a phone.”

Qantas says technical issues prevented travelers on the Sydney-Tokyo flight from selecting their own film… and the flight crew reportedly sought feedback from some passengers who chose “Daddio” from a limited selection.

A Reddit user who claims he was on the flight complained online, stating: “The movie they played was extremely inappropriate. It was impossible to stop, dim or turn it off.”

The passenger added… “There was graphic nudity and a lot of sexting – the kind where you could literally read the text on the screen without needing headphones. It took them almost an hour to switch to a more kid-friendly film, but it was super uncomfortable for everyone, especially with families and kids on board.”

Qantas is now apologizing, saying in a statement… “The film was clearly not suitable to play throughout the flight and we sincerely apologize to customers for this experience.”

The airline continues… “For the remainder of the flight, all screens were switched to a family-friendly film, which is our standard practice for the rare occasions when individual film selection is not possible.”

However, it sounds like the damage is already done.
