Pre-orders for the PlayStation 30th Anniversary DualSense Controller are now available

5:13am ET / 10:13am BST: Amazon is ready to go! The retailer has just updated the listing page I previously spotted in the UK, and you can now pre-order the 30th Anniversary DualSense controller directly from the site. No more waiting in Sony’s queue!

While Sony may be making the first move in the UK, this is one of the few accessories that will be available at other retailers today – check out these stores to skip the queue:

PlayStation’s 30th anniversary celebrations are already underway and the full range (excluding the PS5 Slim) seems to be just a good old Sony queue away. The retailer’s UK site opened its queue just after 8am BST, but also operates a waiting room system, meaning extra wait times to get onto the site.

If you’re looking for a PlayStation 30th Anniversary Controller, I’d actually recommend avoiding Sony altogether. The retailer is still stuck in a queue, but Amazon currently has the DualSense live and in stock for £69.99.

We’re still waiting for pre-orders in the US, but I’m sure they won’t be long in coming. Once the US wakes up, I expect a number of retailers to jump on the bandwagon. The same goes for the UK – there doesn’t seem to be a set time for these deals to be released, so stores could be adding stock to shelves in waves throughout the day.

If Sony’s pre-orders are sold out or you’re waiting for a cheaper shipping price, I recommend you stay in touch. I’ll be checking the internet all day for the latest pre-order listings so you can get your DualSense for the holidays without too much hassle with the backorder we all remember.
