Kansas City Current and Sporting KC II were in action this weekend while Sporting KC had a day off. On Saturday, Sporting KC II picked up just its third regular season win since early June in a dominating 4-0 victory over Whitecaps 2 in Canada. On Sunday, the Currents took on North Carolina Courage. After leading 1-0 and tying 1-1 during a weather-related stoppage, a late Courage goal handed the Currents their third straight league loss.
