MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis police are searching for two women who allegedly hijacked the car of a man who gave them a ride more than two weeks ago.
According to MPD, the victim met with officers at the Superman Market gas station at 4590 Summer Avenue on Monday, July 29.
The man said that the store was the destination of his passengers.
The duo reportedly demanded his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado at gunpoint on the way to a Berclair-area convenience store after he offered to drive them there.
The thieves then forced him to get out of the truck and sped away. According to police, the vehicle has since been confiscated.
Suspect No. 1 is described as a thin woman between 18 and 20 years old who was last seen wearing a white top and denim skirt.
Suspect No. 2 is described as a medium build female between the ages of 18 and 20 who was last seen wearing a black top and denim skirt.
