VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia – Three children, all under the age of five, were kidnapped from their Virginia Beach home, police said.
An Amber Alert was issued after Virginia Beach police said 36-year-old Dana Plummer stabbed the children’s mother and left the home on Jay Are Court in a black SUV.
Investigators said the three children, Zayir Plummer (3), Zayin Plummer (5) and Za’riyah Plummer (1), were abducted from their home around 9 p.m. Wednesday evening.

According to police, all the children have brown eyes and brown hair.
- Zayir is about 1.20 m tall and weighs 45 kg. He was last seen wearing grey trousers and a black jacket.
- Zayin is about 1.20 m tall and weighs 45 kg. He was last seen wearing rust-colored pants and a light blue shirt.
- Za’riyah is about 60 cm long and weighs 18 kg. She was last seen wearing pink tights and a troll dress.
Virginia Beach Police describe Dana Plummer as a black male with brown eyes and brown hair, 5’9″ tall and 165 pounds. Police say Plummer may be driving a Honda Passport with temporary VA license plate 37550R and heading in an unknown direction.
